Short Bio

Jose Manuel Rubio Hernán

I received the M.Sc. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, Spain, and the Ph.D. degree from Paris VI, Sorbonne Universities, France.

Currently, I am an associate professor in the physics and electronics department of Télécom SudParis, IP Paris, France.

Current research interests include:

  • ICT safety and security, critical infrastructures, and control theoretic approaches for the detection of attacks against cyber-physical systems.
  • GNSS, receptor clock derives for GNSS spoofing attack detection.
  • UWB signals for health care, more specifically the use of UWB radar signals for the detection of sleep apnea.

Working on now: My recent works are focused on spectrum management in cognitive radio network (centralized on physical and link layers).
